Wedding Reception in 5 Days!!

Hello All, 

How your day in this pandemic? I hope you all healthy and save. So i want to share how i handle my wedding reception in 5 days only for budget i will tell in different story okay ^^

First, I don't have blessed Ceremony in Church or Temple bec i using agency to help me get Wedding Certificate. Me and my husband have  different religion and in here in indonesia we have complicated step to get through for wedding. Beside that we both working almost 7 days in a week from 10 am to 9 pm sometimes 10 pm depends situation. So we agreed to using agency to help us get through.

After our family meeting aka engagement we tell them that we will used agency and that's mean we can't do blessing ceremony. We thinking that we don't want reception bec that's will spend money and maybe we just take our big family eat together to celebrate.

So after the procedure in government finish and we got our wedding Certificate legally i was thinking maybe we can share our moment with closed friends and family. 

So i listing what i need to do the reception. Venus, food, souvenir, decorations, photographer, cakes, make up, dress and guest list. First i looking for venue that's already included with food so i just need to pay 1 times for all, and if i lucky they have simple decorations.

Aftet list few place and calculate my budget i contact 1 place to confirm the dates. I contacted them at monday or Tuesday and asking if the are available at friday. They said no they already have booked and they asking what if on Saturday and i said okay. 

On the same day me and my husband goes to the place to see they space and i think is enough for 80 people we predict. We invite more than 100 people and i already have spare money if the food was not enough. So we book for 80 guests and choose the food package after that we talk about sitting maps and we finish.

Venue and food was finish, and before that i already buy souvenir when we still waiting progress for wedding Certificate. I was thinking if we don't have reception i still can giving souvenir. The souvenir was 7 days po and arives on Wednesday after venue was finish. 

I created my own design for wedding invitations and i finish it on Wednesday. I giving the invitation in my office friends on Thursdays, 2 days before Reception. 

For dress i buy online for our both parents and arrived at Thursday we giving them on Friday. And on Friday me and my husband goes to boutique for borrowing dress. We choose grey colors bec it fit with my hair color. I don't want he wear black bec everyday he already wear black jacket. 

Venue, food, dress, souvenir finish.

Cake i booked cakes on Wednesday or Thursday and they sent to place on the day. I buy 1 tier cakes with flower simple and still fit with our themes rustic. On Thursday i also booked backdrop decoration and i happy they can be booked on the date.

At the day Mc, Photographer, Videographer, Make up all my friend. To be honest they shock when i said at they day was my wedding reception. They just know we want to Pre-wedding. By the way we just 6 people. 4 of them help me on the day and 2 of us the King and Queen. 

Oh yeah i forgot to tell that we already have simple pre-wedding foto seasons before. 

That's all my situation on planing my wedding reception. By they way on Sunday i still coming to office Lol

I got inpiration for the simple wedding invitation from pinterest and online shop. Bec our target only under 100 people the price will be expensive to order online so i create the design using photoshop and print out. For make it more modern i buy seal wax online and stamp it.
